Wedding planning and everyday life have kept us so busy, we have barely had a chance to think about or plan a honeymoon. Every day feels like an adventure to us, but this would be a perfect chance to create cherished memories as newlyweds! A honeymoon fund might not be the most traditional gift, but we would be incredibly grateful for a contribution of any amount. We have a few destinations in mind, like the American Southwest, Hawaii, or Mexico, but we would love to hear if you have any recommendations!
We have lived in several apartments together, and we are thankful for all the times many of you have helped us move! We have been dreaming of owning a home together for a while now, and we would be so grateful for your help in making that dream a reality. Your contribution would help us cover the down payment and closing costs associated with buying a home. It would also help us furnish our new home and make it our own. We would love to have you over to our house when we finally have one! Nachos, anyone?
We totally understand if you would prefer to give a little something to our pride and joy, Olivia the husky dog. We adopted her four months into our relationship. She is the MVP of this family and deserves all the cuddles and love. We would be delighted if you contributed to her fun fund! This would help us give Olivia new toys, blankets, and treats. She always likes food, and she actually seems to enjoy going to the vet (probably because they give her Cheez Wiz), so we would use the funds for that as well.
In lieu of traditional gifts or contributions to funds, we would also be grateful for a donation to the Highland Park Conservancy. The Conservancy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the beauty of Highland Park. Contributions would go toward educational programming, park improvements, and rebuilding the Children’s Pavilion. Highland Park is the home to Lamberton Conservatory, a beautiful botanical garden where we have made many memories and plan to take our engagement photos this August.
